BIO
I am a professor in political science at University of Tennessee-Knoxville .
Broadly, my research focuses on how globalization affects domestic politics and international relations.
I am also specialized in Korean politics. Currently, I am examining how bilateral FDI and trade flows affect human rights and intrastate conflict, how governments employ welfare policies as a response to challenges of globalization,
and how these policies mediate the link between FDI/Trade and human rights/intrastate conflict.
